Daniel Tsoltoudis is a Sydney based session drummer whose passion for music began at an
early age. He commenced drum tuition at age 10 and has been dedicated to the instrument
ever since. Throughout his teenage years Daniel played in original bands and taught from
his home studio.
In 2006, Daniel won the Combined Catholic Colleges scholarship to attend The Australian
Institute Of Music (AIM), where he completed his diploma in contemporary performance and
studied under industry professionals. His time at AIM exposed him to a wide variety of styles
including rock, jazz, funk and Latin which allowed him to further broaden his musical
knowledge. Daniel is now an established drum tutor who has worked mostly with students in
local Primary and High Schools, but enjoys teaching people of all ages. He uses the
experience and knowledge he’s gained over the years to create a relaxed and enjoyable, yet
productive learning environment.
Daniel has played with a wide range of bands and musical acts and has toured extensively
around Australia, performing at festivals such as The Byron Bay Blues Fest, Woodford Folk
festival and The Australian Monsters Of Rock Festival. He has also toured throughout the
USA and performed at the renowned Emergenza Festival in Germany.
You can see Daniel playing live around Sydney in his original band CREO.
